A busy road junction from Fantastic Day Therapy in Spalding

The "Everything you want to know but haven't asked yet" page

You've got questions... I've got answers!

As an anxiety therapist in Spalding (and online anywhere with decent WiFi), I'm like your mental health DJ - I've got a whole playlist of techniques ready to go, and I know exactly when to drop the bass (metaphorically speaking - though if actual bass-dropping would help, we can discuss it)

The questions you're too polite to ask

What's my style of therapy?

(Spoiler: Not your typical "and how does that make you feel?" approach)

As an anxiety specialist in Spalding (and online worldwide), I combine provocative questioning, cognitive hypnotherapy, metaphorical work and Integral Eye Movement Therapy. Think of it as having a professional conversation with someone who isn't afraid to ask the questions your friends won't.

No cookie-cutter approaches here - you're not a diagnosis walking through my door, you're a person with your own unique flavour of stuck. And that's exactly what we'll work with.

Let's talk about money

(Because therapy isn't free, and pretending otherwise helps no one)*

  • £99 per session (90-120 minutes)

  • First two sessions booked together

  • After that? We'll see where you're at (but I'm not interested in being a new therapy habit for you, no coming back just to shoot the breeze)

  • Multiple session discounts available if you need them

Online therapy

(Yes, you can wear your comfy clothes - just keep it professional-ish)

You'll need:

  • A proper quiet room (not your car, bed, or local Starbucks)

  • Internet that actually works

  • A stable device setup (no shaky-hand phone sessions)

  • Somewhere comfortable to sit (but not TOO comfortable - I'm looking at you, bed-loungers)

Can't manage these? Come and see me in person in Spalding. Your neck will thank you.

REAL WORDS FROM REAL PEOPLE

Vic has truly transformed my mindset, helping me to better accept life’s challenges. Her guidance has empowered me to cope more effectively and positively. Bye bye anxiety Highly recommend!

Everything else you want to know

Will this actually work?

(The question you're too polite to ask out loud)

Here's the honest truth: therapy works best when you're ready for change and willing to have real conversations. If someone's dragged you here against your will or you're planning to sit in silence waiting for a miracle... well, even Mary Poppins would struggle with that one.

(Note: I might end sessions early if you're clearly not in the mood to participate - no, you won't get a refund either. Consider it a "thanks, but no thanks" to passive resistance)

Important things to know

I don't work with:

  • Psychiatric conditions needing medical care, including EUPD, Bipolar Disorders

  • Eating disorders

  • Addictions requiring medical support (alcoholism, certain drugs, medication abuse)

  • Active suicidal thoughts or self-harming that draws blood

Why? Because these need proper medical support - like how you wouldn't ask a plumber to fix your electricity.

If you have epilepsy, eye issues, or other certain conditions, it may not be possible for me to work with you, but we can discuss this when we talk.

Young people welcome

(But only if they actually want to be here)

  • Available for ages 11+

  • Parent/guardian needs to be present in the room (but no, you can't answer for them)

  • Free initial chat in person is mandatory for young clients; we'll only progress to therapy if the child wants to.

  • Sometimes it becomes clear that a parent's stuff is affecting their child (kids are like emotional sponges). If that's the case, I'll tell you - because pretending otherwise would be like trying to dry the floor while leaving the tap running.

TOP TIP FOR "THOSE" TYPE OF PEOPLE

I use provocative, questioning therapy that encourages change.
As Frank Farrelly (the father of provocative therapy) said: "when the pain begins, the learning starts".

I don't tolerate abuse, aggression or threats; I'll end the session and show you the door faster than you can say "anger management". Life's too short for that nonsense.

And no, there aren't any refunds.

Ready to feel better?

If you're sat there thinking "this sounds promising but slightly odd," that's perfectly normal!

Here's how we can dip our toes in the water:

  1. Book a free 15-minute discovery call (think of it as a casual chat, not an interrogation)

  2. We'll see if we click and if my slightly unconventional approach might be your cup of tea

  3. If it feels right, I'll send you a booking link (if it doesn't, no hard feelings - I promise not to write sad poetry about it

DEEP & MEANINGFUL MOMENT:

"Talk-talk-talk-talk-talk, and you never get your ass in gear!"
