How Fantastic Day Can Help With Bad Habits
(When willpower isn't working and you're tired of letting yourself down)

Oh, it's happened again, has it? Whether you're in Spalding or Spain, that moment of weakness feels exactly the same...

There you are, standing in your kitchen at midnight, surrounded by the evidence of your latest "moment of weakness". The cupboard's door's still open, the biscuit packet's mysteriously empty, and you're wondering how on earth you managed to do exactly what you swore you wouldn't. Again.

Or maybe you're staring at your banking app in horror... another late-night "therapy session" with your favourite online retailer that's left your credit card whimpering in the corner. Sure, those four dresses look exactly like the other twelve hanging in your wardrobe with their tags still on, but this time they'll definitely make you feel better... won't they?

What's Your Particular Flavour Of Self-Sabotage? (As seen in kitchens from Lincolnshire to Luxembourg)

  • The Midnight Snacker
Who apparently needs to investigate the contents of every cupboard between 11PM and 2AM. Because obviously, that's when all the best snacking decisions are made. (And yes, this happens in Spalding just as often as Sydney)

  • The Retail Therapist
Your finger has a PhD in one-click ordering, and your delivery driver knows your life story. You've got more "treat yourself" parcels than you've had hot dinners. The internet has made this particularly easy, hasn't it? (Thank goodness there's worldwide shipping, eh?)

  • The Social Media Detective
Three hours deep into stalking your ex-partner's best friend's dog's Instagram account, telling yourself you're just "keeping up with people". As if watching Sandra's endless posts about her suspiciously well-behaved children is somehow good for your mental health.

Why Most Habit-Breaking Advice Is Rubbish (From Spalding to San Francisco, some advice is universally useless)

  • "Just avoid the triggers"
Brilliant advice, this. Because it's totally possible to avoid being stressed, bored, or annoyed by Helen from the school WhatsApp group, isn't it? Might as well suggest you avoid breathing while you're at it.

  • "Do something better instead"
Because when you're knee deep in an emotional shopping spree at 2AM, what you really want to do is take up knitting. How's that working out? Got enough half-finished scarves to wrap round the equator yet?

  • "Focus on the negative"
Because nothing helps break a habit like a healthy dose of self-loathing and shame, right? While you're at it, why not just sellotape a list of failures to your forehead?

Important Note About Serious Stuff (Because some things need more than therapy)

(Quick note: If you're here about smoking, serious drinking, drugs, or that cocaine habit you swear is "just for special occasions" (like the day having a Y in it) - I'm not your person.

Smokers love their cigarettes more than they love breathing, heavy drinkers need proper medical support before they even think about therapy, and drug habits need proper medical help.

If you're knocking back bottles rather than glasses, or your weekend powder is becoming a midweek must-have, you need to toddle off to your GP first. Not because I'm judging you, but because science and facts.)

How I Actually Help (Without suggesting you take up yoga)

Here in Spalding, Lincolnshire (and worldwide via the magic of decent WiFi), I help people just like you break free from those frustrating habits. Using a blend of provocative therapy, coaching and hypnotherapy, we'll:

  • Figure out what's really driving those habits

  • Create strategies that actually work in real life

  • Help you break free without the shame spiral

No airy-fairy mantra nonsense, no suggesting you manifest better habits while burning sage. Just practical advice that gets results, whether you're in my Spalding therapy room or connecting from anywhere in the world.
